About Brian
Brian Flowers is a proponent of true Constitutional government of the sort that made America great. He is running for Congress in Mississippi’s 2nd Congressional District. It will take time for America to return to Constitutional government and greatness, but step-by-step, year-by-year, Brian Flowers will work with other good men and women in Congress to take us there.
Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Brian was raised in a Christian family deeply rooted in a Southern Baptist Church. He graduated from Cape Fear High School in 1998. After high school, Brian felt led to join the armed forces. He is a Navy veteran who served over 10 years and achieved the rank of Machinist Mate 1st Class (E-6).
Brian has travelled throughout the 2nd District meeting with people of many backgrounds. After considering their comments and complaints, Brian is evermore convinced that a return to Constitutional government will resolve most, if not all, of the problems that the federal government is capable of resolving– the remaining problems being left to the States, local communities, families, and individuals to resolve as they see fit.

During his time in the Navy, Brian met his future wife, Amber, onboard the USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74). They were married in 2005 and have three young daughters. Brian moved his family to Mississippi in 2014 when he took a mechanical planning position at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station; he is currently the station’s FLEX Marshal. The Flowers family lives in Clinton where they attend Morrison Heights Baptist Church.
Besides church, Brian is a member of several associations; the most notable is American Legion Post 112. He joined the Legion to serve the veterans of the Jackson area. He was the post’s chaplain in 2016.
