All four U.S. House representatives from Mississippi will face competition for their seats this year. U.S. Rep. Steven Palazzo has attracted the most challengers for the March primary, with three Republicans seeking to upset him.

On the Senate side, incumbent Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith — running for her first full six-year term — is likely to again face Democrat Mike Espy in November. She does not have any primary opponents, though two Democrats will challenge Espy.

The deadline for Mississippi congressional candidates to qualify ended earlier this month. The party primary for president and congressional candidates in Mississippi falls on March 10, with the general election Nov. 3.
